How to use LaTeX with Windows ?  [v]  [v]  [^] [^]

LaTeX is a free and open software for typesetting documents with typographic quality. Coding is independent of the operating system. Many tools are available for its implementation on a given system.

The following solution has been used for Windows:

The equivalent solution for Linux combines the teTeX (http://www.tug.org/teTeX/) distribution and the Kile (http://kile.sourceforge.net/) LaTeX environment.

The above solution is recommended by Céline Chevalier et al. (2005). LaTeX pour l'impatient. H&K (http://www.h-k.fr/), Paris.

This solution is described on the Framasoft (http://www.framasoft.net) site which suggests other distributions like TeX Live (http://www.tug.org/texlive/) and other environments like LyX (http://www.lyx.org/).
